Bob Hafer’s 36 years as a leader in the new home building industry have given him an unparalleled insight into the mysteries and marvels of successful new home sales. He has been a senior manager with some of America’s leading home builders; he has recruited, trained and mentored some of the top sales executives in the nation. Bob is recognized for his organizational abilities in every phase of home building. He has been a key figure behind the successful growth and development of some of the best-known and most highly-respected companies in the residential building industry.
Bob Hafer began his career in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1972 as an on-site new home sales representative. Since 1972, he has held 11 different positions, in five states, ranging from sales representative to division president. He has been a speaker and panel member at numerous NAHB Conventions, including the Super Bowl Sales Rally. He is an active member of the Institute of Residential Marketing. In 2001 he was the Chairman of the Dallas Sales and Marketing Council and in 2002 was the McSAM Chairman for the Dallas Homebuilders Association.
Bob is a long-time member of the National Association of Home Builders; he holds NAHB’s prestigious designations as a Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) and Certified Sales Professional (CSP).
Since 1994 he has provided sales training, merchandising and marketing strategy to over ninety homebuilders coast-to-coast.
